Dangerous or Vicious Dog Classifications

    I defend dogs who are being prosecuted for dog bites. The ordinances regarding dog bite cases for dangerous or vicious dogs vary from county to county, city to city.

    Dogs that are classified as dangerous or vicious can be muzzled for life or euthanized.

    Under Florida Law you are entitled to a timely evidentiary hearing to contest these classifications.

    Possible Defenses include:    
    Was the dog provoked by the accuser?    
    Was the accuser trespassing?    
    Was the accuser making threats against you, the family or the dog?    
    Was the accuser lying about the bite, the severity of the bite?    
    Was the accuser and or others lying about the dogs past?
